I'm not just a coach ... I'm a transformational coach with over 30 years of experience and expertise in yoga, mindfulness, and Reiki. That means I understand how stress, emotions, and energy impact your ability to feel calm and fully alive.
We don't just talk about your problems; we can work with your nervous system to help you get grounded, feel calmer, and feel more fully alive. Plus, I've been where you are. I've gone through my own experience with anxiety (manic episodes, to be specific) and climbed back up from rock bottom. So when I say I understand what it's like to find calm and presence, and truly reset life, I really mean it.
What is coaching?
Coaching is a partnership. You and your coach work together to clarify goals and take steps toward them. With Anitra, you also get the benefit of a coach with expertise in nervous system regulation and personal experience in navigating mental health with success.

What is mindfulness coaching?
Mindfulness coaching helps you feel calmer, less stressed, and more focused by teaching you how to be present in the moment. Instead of worrying about the past or future, you learn simple tools to handle challenges with more ease. It’s about creating more peace and clarity in your everyday life.
Is there scientific evidence that mindfulness helps people?
Yes! There’s a lot of scientific evidence showing that mindfulness can help. Studies have found that practicing mindfulness reduces stress, lowers anxiety and depression, improves focus, and even helps with sleep and overall well-being. Brain scans show that regular mindfulness practice can actually change the parts of the brain linked to attention, emotion regulation, and resilience. It’s one of the most well-researched tools for mental and emotional health.
How do coaching sessions with you work?
We meet weekly via Zoom by simply clicking on the Zoom link you receive with your booking email (or by phone if you prefer that).
In a typical session:
Check-In: You share how you’re doing, what’s on your mind, and any challenges you want to focus on.
Goal Discussion: I lead you through a conversation about your goals, any challenges, and next steps to take.
Reflection: We reflect on the week and our session, noting any patterns and obstacles ... and how to address them.
Hands-on Tools: I share techniques and tools that may help you with your goals
Follow Up: I always follow up in writing, summarizing the session and giving you personally tailored tips, exercises, or mini-practices you can use in daily life before our next session.
